  • supplied with luxury presentation pouch
  • Japanese quartz movement
  • three year battery

£42.50

Two toned silver-plated case with rugged green military strap. Dust-proof casing and Japanese Quartz movement. The dial is decorated with the Manx triskelion symbol.

The Manx triskelion (or 'tre cassyn') consists of a three bent human legs protruding from a central point. The symbol is also used in Sicily and Brittany but the Manx symbol differs in that the legs are clad in garnished armour. It appears on Manx banknotes with the defiant Latin inscription of 'Wherever you will throw it, it stands'.

Manannan: the son of the Irish sea god Lir. A magician, healer, sea god and noble warrior who married the great beauty Fand. He had the ability to control the seas for voyagers.
